​The Stephens City Fire & Rescue was established in1939.  It was the first fire station in Frederick County.  Currently we have approximatly, 55 volunteers.  The department operates a 105 foot Pierce Tower, Pierce Lance Wagon, Pierce Velocity Engine, Pierce Rescue Engine, Unimog Brush Truck, Mini Pumper, Utility Pickup, Mack Squad setup for Technical & Water Rescue, 3 ALS Ambulances, BLS Mobile, Pickup Snowplow, 2 Water Rescue Boats.
